STRIDES Therapeutic Riding

From the Horse's Mouth

a poem by rider Noa Gluzer

Six years ago, you received a candle
Who had no self-esteem, was scared and shy
And even a bit hard to handle.
Each new challenge you gave her, ended up
With a cry

For every time you tried to light her flame
She found no reason to keep it going
Burning it out with such a shame
Her life seemed to be pretty boring.

But you wouldn't give up on her
Forcing her to face her fears
She will get it, you were sure
Even if it meant with some tears

And the days went by, and the years went by
And the flame starts to shine so bright
What happened to that little girl that was so shy
She now is standing tall showing off her light.
